well, tomorrow will be the first day of school for some of our friends. Wow, the periods of freedom from education are short-lived. A new start for everyone. New friends, new envirnment, new teachers blah blah blah.. Uh, never mind. K, drop that.
Was really damn bored and asked a few friends whether they wanted to go out. Longkiat suggested to watch "KNOWING"
Teckyong cabbed to us, somewhere near jj's house and we hopped in, of course not literally, HAHAHA. imagine we hopped in, hahah! okok enough of nonsense.
When we arrive somewhere near lot 1, we inform the cab uncle to drop us there, but he don't seem to hear us ): so he turn one big round then dropped us there. The movie was screening at 7:15pm, we arrive at lot 1 at about 7:17pm, late. So we decided to catch another one, called
"SHINJUKU INCIDENT"
Chinese migrant communities in Tokyo are shunned by mainstream society, hounded by the Yakuza and live each day in fear of being discovered and repatriated. It is an alien world for Steelhead, an honest, hardworking tractor repairman from northern China, who took the perilous journey to Tokyo in search of his girlfriend, Xiu Xiu. Steelhead wins the respect of migrants by establishing a base for them and forming an uneasy alliance with the Yakuza. But his peace is short-lived as he learns that his friends are being used to front the Yakuza’s drug business. After the movie, we were quite hungry, therefore, we went over to a nearby coffeeshop to have our dinner. Longkiat has orientation the next day, so we went home.
